Digital Camera... - 03.18.2007, 08:12 AM

I've been searching for the best and most affordable cameras here and there..

I'd like to know which camera do you guys have and how much do you ecommend me to buy it.

I need something with high capabilities and at the most affordable prices( $450-EXTREME).

Lately, the Sony CyberShot T50 and the Canon PowerShot SD900 caught my attention.
The Samsung NV10 is said to be very good, but others grealty detested it for the bad servicing as far as I've heared.

Thanks,

Alawi El-Jifri :)

Try to look at canon Sd700 IS. Its a very good camera. With the image stabilizer, will get a very good photo with it. Try to look for the review..

i was rather lucky with the Casio's. I had a EX-z3, ex-z4, ez-z750..

Their battery takes forever to drain empty, and it's fast with scrolling thru the pictures.

it makes a decent movie; 640X480@20fps (with a good compression as well)

They have got a new model. (1050), which is 11mp. They cost a little, offer a nice list of features and make a rather good picture as well.

I usually don't use the 7.2mp, since 3.2mp is enough for a large photo.

I was into the old-school photo's with my good ol' Nikkon F65, which made great pictures. But the lightweight/portable factors on the casio made me forget about the F65..

I vote PowerShot SD900. Canon makes GREAT camera's.

I (my family) have a SD500 (its like one step down from the 900, but an older model), and its great. Takes great stills, and video isn't that shabby either.
