New and need help - 04.03.2007, 01:16 AM

I just found this forum today and alot of great info on here so any help anyone give me would be appreciated I have a 777 sp2 roller that I want to convert to elec to be able to race against the gassers in my area.
I own a 1/10 scale oval track but want to run some offroad at other tracks but 1/8 scale is all new to me so any help on a motor mount, motor, ecs, battery or battreries to run would be great. Ive heard guys mention the mamba max im like 45 min from them and Shawn Palmer is one of my racers so if this will help me any way please let me know.

Thanks
Chris

Please read the sticky i wrote in the brushless section, it might offer you some help.

The motorplate can be bought thru Mike (shop/site owner) he can machine them for you for a very reasonable price.

I PMed you...

I saw that you are close to KC... I'm jsut a couple hours north of KC.

Did you know there is a big r/c pro series race in Pleasanthilll, MO this month? I might go down there... maybe... with my electric 8ight.

Shawn should be some help on the electrics end... he really likes those kokam 4800s, and I assume he likes the Mambas ;)
