04.23.2007, 12:47 AM
ok so normaly when i go from forward to reverse there is some delay in the response. now for some reason it is the oposite there is a delay when i go from reverse to forward ...and i also noticed im running faster in reverse then forward. so i reversed channel 2 and it does reverse the direction when i push the triger it goes forwards and pull it goes backwards but no matter what i do i cant get the thing to go fast when i PULL the trigger....instead of push. it i know thats all complicated i almost got lost just typing it but this is driving me nuts its prolly something stupid but i dont know what it is ...:035: :035: :035:

Try reversing the polarity of the motor wires? If R is faster than F, sounds like the motors are wired backwards to me...
Or, how about your radio EPA?

OK, you have a + and - going to each motor. Put the - ESC wire to the + motor terminal, and the + ESC wire to the - motor terminal. Do the same on both motors or you'll have problems.
EPA=End point adjustment. Depending on the radio you have, you can set how far the servos move at full throttle/steering. Consider your throttle "servo" your ESC. Just make sure both F and R are at 100%. If you're using a stock Traxxas radio, you don't have this feature. If you are using the Traxxas radio, what do you have your 70/30 / 50/50 switch set to?

What fixed it, the motor wire swap or the radio adjustment?

Did you by any chance take out the diffs? I'm not sure if it's possibly on the emaxx, but if you install them upside down, it reverse the direction of motion.
Also, I'd look over the settings on your radio. If this just started happening all of a sudden, I would suspect an accidental radio setting adjustment. Motor wires don't usually switch themselves...
