Even for hardcore racing...this is a HELL of a motor...I hope you are running this in a 15 pound truck or something really big and heavy like a Baja 5B.
In the average 10-11lb Maxx or Revo, assuming your drivetrain doesn't explode at the first pull of the trigger, you will probably be fighting to keep all 4 wheels from lighting up.
For racing you want to stick with a 1940 or 1950 - 1950 if you want it to be really powerful, but 1940 is plenty for most applications.
I chose a 1950 because after extensive testing with my truck I have found that it can put stupid amounts of power to the ground without compromising stability, so I decided to opt for the 1950.
Given, this is in a CF G2R setup with dialed in suspension and everything. I spent ~10 runs to get the suspension just right.
