hi.. i'm triyng to modify my BL savage, and i'm looking a place where put my 6 cell Nimh packs.. or maybe a better situation.. please post me your position...

have u some photos to post me? looking for new idea.. :032: :032:

use also some lipo, but for the weal of this battery type i'm thinking to use nimH in hard situation.. (just burn 2 lipo pack :035: :035: )

Depends on location of motor. I have seen some stick them inside the chassis
where the nitro motor was. Some get the koyosh battery holders and mount
them to the outside of chassis. I made a bottom plate for mine and mounted
them really low. It also acted as a skid plate to.

The sides are you best bet. I would check into some koyosho battery holders.
Then you can mount them on sides with a few spacers if had to.
What spur gear is that. That don't look like a savage one.

but i think that lipo are too weak to be placed in the side.. too many rocks, land, water could be damage they... :013: :013:

spurs it's a 72t 32p by an emaxx... like the tranny...

Get an aluminum U-profile and make something yourself. with velcro and some foam you have got a good setup.

i know this thread is old but how is the hv-maxx holding up in the savy? does it over heat much? and is it a power house? nice savage.
