Warrior 9918 .. when will it be in stock again? - 06.06.2005, 07:06 PM

I need a controller for my 9L motor. The Warrior 9918 seems to be the most popular choice for a controller. But it has been out of stock for a month. Is there any other alternative controller available?

Also, for the connections, is WS deans Solder any good, I think it has included flux in it. This will be my first time soldering any tips would be appreciated

THank you

It hasn't quite been a month, but it has been too long! They should arrive this week. WS Deans solder is perfect. I have some in stock, as a matter of fact(I suppose I should list it in the store!).
Welcome to the forums, too!

so did the 9920 replace the 9918? or is it just a upgraded version? i wish i would have waited cause i just paid 220 for a pre-wired 9920 since you had been out of them for so long.

The 9920 replaced the 9918. they are basically the same controller, except the 9920s have dual wires now(similar to the 120+ amp controllers, but smaller gage wire).

Yes, dual wires. Instead of one 12 gage wire for each battery lead and motor lead, there are now 2 smaller wires in their place.

Thanks for the speedy delivery Mike. I guess the dual wires are more efficient than just one.

Is there a website with photos and instructions on how to wire this to the BEC, Batteries, motors, reciever, etc?

No pictures, but there is a detailed instruction stuck at the top of the brushless forum here:
