10s System

I'm back from the holidays now and looking for a new system, I have some good cash and a great car to put it in, my Maxx, that runs on 6s and a 7xl / BK9920 at the moment.

I'll be running 10s Lipo with a MGM12032 (should be okay?) most likely but not sure what motor to choose? As you would know I like to push my motors, so prefer speed over efficiency.

How big is the 1521? I don't know much about these Neus. I guess Mike can get that one in?

I'm working on a hi-volt setup, but going w/ 10S A123/8S lipo and planning to use the MGM 9032. Even with the 9032, on 10S lipo you are talking over 3000W, and this is high eff wattage, so many more usable watts over an in-eff XL setup. Power potential is huge.

A 1515 3D or 2Y (1360 kv or 1100 kv) would be a good choice. I'm looking at a 2Y as I'm aiming more for high eff than over the top power, and the possiblity to throw on a couple extra cells for nuttiness if needed.

A 3D on 10S would be absolutely insane IMO if that is what you are aiming for. g/l

Yeah, the 1521 can easily hold it's own against the 2240 Lehner motors, plus, it has higher effeciency. You got yourself covered with this thing. Good luck to your diffs, though, you need to keep a close eye on them.

If you need more power which will eventually gives you more velocity, the 1521 will surely do it.
The 1515 might do, though.
The Plett BigMaxximum is quite fasssst on 6s.
There's the Bolido, a massive dude by all means.
If Mike was still carrying the Lehners, I would've told you to get a 22series motor from him.
Hmmm...what else?....
Well, to be honest with you, the 1521 is my favorite choice. Get something within the range of 1100-1500rpm. That, on 10s, will make your truck do some rock'n roll, baby!!!

The 1521 is longer than the 2240. The pictures should give you some idea on the size of the 1521 and 1527.
