Emaxx tranny grease? - 11.08.2007, 11:49 PM

Would anyone recommend putting some grease on the gears of the tranny? I have done the metal Idler gear, repinning the drive grear and single speed mod. Would it be a good idea to grease the gears before putting it together again.

Use tamiya ceramic grease, or automotive synthetic grease. Nothing too thick, but you want something sticky enough to hold onto the gears.

Rubber Sealed Bearings on the output shaft seem to hold it in better.

Don't use too much grease/lube or it will create extra drag. Just a dab will do ya.
