Talking Raced the CRT .5 Today!!!! - 10.07.2007, 08:13 PM

had so much fun , i had to post

turned a few heads though, raced in mod against 2 wheelers

wow , i wish i could drive better and its not that fast

it was great, i raced it on 2s , geared 16/46 with the mm and 9l, temps were 95-105f

held together pretty good, had a ball cup pop off on my steering knuckle, and on the 4th race (B main) i broke the rear lower arm

so parts ordered and cant wait to try this on the track w/3s and around 12/46

also ordered blue springs and a new body

this thing will be sweet w/rc-monster chassis and truck tires

any set up help is appreciated

My crt.5 run on 9L with 3s, gear 18/46, it's simply insane Wheely on demand.
You'll love this combo

my 3s pack will be here this week, as well as new suspension arms, i think it will rip on 3s, it does ok now, but as soon as the voltage starts to drop i can really tell, i guess i will start with 15/46 for now

i plan on running this combo with the ext. chassis and 2.2 truck tires, and blue springs, should be great

btw: does your truck jump well? i had some problums on small jumps, the big jumps were great, i may be letting off the throttle to soon, it seems to nose dive on me

what fluids are you running in the diffs?

thanks

oh ok , maybe just driver error , i was doing great on the triple jump, so it must not be that slow on 2s, i will have rebuild my shocks and diffs and replace the fluids, thanks for the help
