Monster GT Roller - ready for brushless! - 10.03.2007, 07:45 AM

I posted here originally when I converted my MGT into a brushless monster, and as I wait for the new MGT to arrive, I realized I don't need two large trucks. So, I want to clean house of the first one to make room for truck 2.

Truck started as a stock, brand new from Tower MGT, and I stripped off all of the nitro stuff and sold it.

Bought factory team shock caps for the shocks, have red/gold springs all the way around, and the diffs are housed inside of GPM blue aluminum cases, along with Nova RC's alloy spider gear holder, so the whole diff is super stiff and shimmed up tight.

Tranny has the forward only conversion kit, and the two speed is still installed as well. I've been running it this way since I had it, and it works great. I also use the stock disk brake for stopping, since I do not have the tranny locked.

I'm pulling the motor and mount, ESC, BEC, radio gear, and steering servo from the truck. The brake servo will be included.

Also for an upgrade, Maximizer Race Yellow Beadlocks with Losi Zombie Maxx tires are included with the truck. Barely any wear on them.

Truck is very clean, 8-9 out of 10, I haven't really had it out to a "real" bash site, mainly grass fields/pavement running. Front bumper is a piece broken off of it, one of the 1/2" vertical bars is missing, and there are a few scratches here and there. The body is a stocker, has some scrapes from being flipped over due to the brushless power I'm throwing into it.

Also, I have custom made some Lexan side guards to hold my LiPo battery, the stockers weren't strong enough, and didn't give me enough room. I can include those, as well as the stockers which are still new, or I can swap them and keep the Lexan, no biggie either way.

I'd rather not sell the motor/esc (Neu 1515 1/y and the Quark Air Master which I modded for cooling), but if you'd like the whole truck ready to run I could be flexible, but there's about a grand worth of parts into this thing, and I know these things don't resell for near what we paid for them.

See this video link, that was the original layout before I finalized everything (see picture). Ready for nitro or electric, the truck is great. I'm 10kman on ebay as well for references, I have over 400 positive feedback, no negative, would appreciate the same good citizenship from a potential buyer.

PM me with any questions....Thanks a lot,
