Mamba Maxx speedo on 4s?

CC only recommends 3s maximum, yet a ton of people are running 4s. I want to do that with an 7xl with my brand new CCMM, but i'm kinda scared that i will smoke test it How do u safely run the MM on 4s? And does the auto-lipo-shutoff work on 4s?

It will work on 4s, as will the lvc. You must disable the internal bec, by removing the red wire from the rec plug. YThe use a ubec or receiver pack to power the servos. On 4s the internal bec will overheat.

Be careful when using the 7xl, it can draw alot of power, so gear low to start and check temps frequently. I have a few revos with 7xl and mm combos and they work fine, but are very gearing sensitive. What lipos are you going to use?

I was going to use two 2s 6000mah Maxamps packs in series, this would be for the new emaxx.

i think a 20t pinion is a good starting point. becareful not only about the esc temps but also the motor temps. feigao motors tend to run a hott. i dont have one personally...yet. i plan to the same time i order my mmm. i was gonna run a 24t pinion with the stock 68t spur.
