Revo project - 11.01.2007, 09:03 PM

lol, Well as some may know, I was looking at rc stuff, and saw the revo, and after seeing some peoples conversions, and after looking at the upgrades to bring a maxx up to standards with me, I could re build up my revo, The new maxx will be atleast 300, and thats about what I need in parts lol

So, the list is

RCM hybrids (which ones? I think the truggy ones?) Do I need them do you guys think?

RCM motor mount

MMM combo, with there version of the NEU 1515 1Y (I hope it comes out!!!)

Batts, not 100% here, I could do 2 TrakPower packs, and wire them in for 4s, but runtime? Or I could do 4, or 5s Flight Power 25C 5K.... But with TrakPowers, I can use them in my race car, which is nice for me...

FOC

3.3 Chassis

After that, just little parts that are missing, and the parts to get her moving

What do you guys think? Or stick to the Maxx plan?

For the diff, i sugest you to take the buggy ratio, that's what is more close r in ratio to the stock diff ration and you don't have to gear it hhhhhiiiiiiiiggger to reach an acceptable speed.

Batt: i have the flightpower EVO25, 5000mAh, 4s and i'am very happy with it.

Motor i've the Neu 1515, 1y with MM and work great.

Hmm, ok... Buggy ratio, lol I got all confused on which one, so I just guessed

Hows cogging? I have a blown MM I could send in and get it repaired for the 50 bucks, but idk that there the new version or not, so 4s might not be real, especially from CC......... We will see if the MMM is going to come out, id rather have a real NEU, but at 300 for the MMM, and there NEU s just too good!

well you might as well send in the ESC, get it replaced and sell it.

the upgraded diffs are a must. stock revo diffs wont hold up too long. trust me.

evo 30s arent too much more expensive and i would think they would be alot nicer. maybe?

when do you plan on actually buying the stuff? you were talking about a crt .5 earlier.. you still doing that? or just waiting to buy a big truck?

Ehhh, I could, but dont want to lol............

Yeah, I figured

I know FP's are better because of the C rating, but then I cant use them in my TC.......

X mas project, I dont want a .5 because its too low to the ground, if im going to spend the cash, I will do a MT, and I already have the revo..... So the REVO, or get into 12th scale on road, those on carpet are THE SHIZ!
