MGM live Mode - 11.04.2007, 04:30 PM

Can anyone tell me how you do the live mode after you program the controller? Do you do it before you shut the controller off, or do you shut the controller off then do a live run? If I go through the programing then try the live run my controller won't run, I have to turn mine off and then the controller will arm. Is this when I should do the live run?
Mike told me that I should do a live run and then
upon completion of the run I would get a beeping tone to complete the live run and complete the programing.

You go into prog mode, choose auto program (option #5 IIRC), hit "enter", then the controller beeps and goes into live mode where you drive around for a bit. Mine never beeped to say it was over, I just eventually turned it off, but it did change some settings.

Maybe I should have driven it longer, but I drove it a while (1min or so) so fugured it was done. It does keep some settings such as one-way mode.

1) go through programming mode and set all the options like you want them.

2) turn off esc.

3) get into program mode, go to auto program and select it, controller will beep like normal and then beep twice with a slightly longer third beep, then run the car making sure to hit full throttle a few times.

4) done!
