Rpm Knuckles Question?

I was wondering does anyone here use the rpm knuckles on there maxxes? The reason why i am asking is because i have been using these for about a year now and it seems like there is a lot of slop where the bearings are and it does seem to be getting worse. I did replace the bearings just recently thinking that they were bad and that did not seem to help. Is this a common problem and would upgrading to aluminum help this at all? Thans guys for any and all help.

I don't use them, but it is not uncommon for the plastic to wear a little and cause this slop. THE RPM PLASTIC IS BUILT TO FLEX, SO i AM NOT TERRIBLY SURPRISED THAT THIS WOULD HAPPEN. (damn caps lock!) :)
I suppose everything will wear out eventually, but I have yet to wear out a set of aluinum knuckles.

I run the rpm as well. Me and my brother both are experencing the same problem you are. I guess the knuckles are getting bigger holes than was designed with.

Hey mike! What is a good replacement product for the rpm? I want something better with out the slop. Blue preferibly.

I use Integy super duty knuckles. they are aluminum, with big bearings and are available(and in stock) in blue.

I was thinking of changing every thing out. Does that RAcer x suspension really make a big improvement? Is it lighter to? I looking for some diet items. I running the Rpm arms and knuckles. I was looking at them or some fast lane arms.

The racer x is an excellent, premium suspension. It makes ahandling difference, as well as being pretty light. Integy makes a copy of it as well, which is available in blue. The Integy is pretty nice as well, though not the same league as the UE(also half the price). I run both. On a budget, I would take the Integy. Without a budget, the UE goes on the truck.

No i still have the same problem with the rpms. I think my next purchase might be some of the integy aluminum knuckles or i might just get the silver pro 3 race suspension. Rpm makes some good stuff, but it just does not seem to last imo.

play on the bearings in the knuckles... that's the catch..

t2693 look for your wheel to wooble around. You will think they are loose but they not.
Mike d I thinking about the same thing. If you get them before me let me know. If i get them before you i let you know. How they do.

Thanks coolhandcountry, the bearings in the rpm knuckles are great imo, its just the knuckles themselves. Its like the plastic or nylon or whatever it is just eventually stretches over time.

Well i guess if the out side of the bearing is not stationary. How can the inside be? Me and my bro is having the same as you. You accaully saved me some money by letting me know what the deal was. I was getting ready to buy some bearings my self. I owe you one on that.

can't you glue the bearing in place? Use a bit of oil on the bearing and CA glue on the knuckles, that way you are able to remove the bearings when needed..
