Smoked My Quark Monster Pro

Smoked My Quark Monster Pro - 01.01.2008, 08:45 PM

well my new emaxx 3905 with my Quark Monster Pro smoked today . the wires coming from the esc to the radio started on fire.. Didnt damage my radio or anything else but the Monsterpro is dead.. Do you think Quark with repair it for a fee or replace it ?

In 99% of cases, the replace it for free. No questions asked. Was it just a fluke or did you do anything to make it happen?

Sounds like it was the BEC circuit if it was the receiver wire. If you are using any more than 2s or 7 NiMH cells, you should be using an external UBEC...

I was not using the BEC I removed the red wire. I am going to overnight it to them tommorow and see what they say

Fedex Just dropped of my Brand new Quark Monster Pro 125B .. sad thing is I dont need it now if anyone wants it cheap send me a PM

Cool. its nice that S&T replaced it for you. What esc are you using? or did you scrap the truck?

What address did you send the esc to? I was wondering as my 125b needs some work too?
