I need (2) A123 cells - 01.15.2008, 04:29 AM

I am looking to buy (2) A123 2300 mah cells. Anyone have any that they would sell me?

I believe Maxamps would sell them individually for about $20 each... Rgds

I was looking at those. They were discussed in the A123 section on RC groups. The A123 rep claims that they are not A123 and have a reduced C rating.

Has anyone here used these Yuntong cells?

If they are not A123 would it be safe to mix them into a A123 pack?

different capacity, voltage, and c rating than A123's. I would say no, it would not be safe to mix them with A123's.

i highly doubt it.

i think there is one guy on here who has tried them.

i dont remember his name though...

but i had a thread on these cells but everyone was basically against them.
