Why you hunting a dead one? Any particular generation you are hunting?

ilpufixit, phill is looking for a dead mamba max. Not asking if anyone has fried one.

I didn't send mine in to be repaired, I fixed it myself :)

(not sure which way you were asking the question)

Every time I've had a problem with a MM, the nice folks at CC sent me a new one no problem. I think that when people send them in, CC recycles the parts into other repairs. Probably won't be easy to find a blown one.
