Quick question... - 02.04.2008, 12:27 PM

I'm going to be stripping down my e-revo 2.5 as I picked up a 2.5 vanatge CF chassis in a trade...

The questions are:

1) Should I bother or just ebay the chassis for $50?

- It would be nicer to lighten some of the load as I run with a titanium full length skid...
- How strong / reliable are the CF chassis

2) Can i remove the motor mount brace underneath or does it add strength to the rear diff? Part no 5360 - see pic http://www.traxxas.com/products/nitr...vo_chassis.pdf

Thanks,

Chris

i would use the chassis, and make sure you have the enegine brace, because come of the nitro goys have noticed cracking near the engine, otherwise it is a very durable chassis. the brace solved the problem. check out the qconcepts brace for added strength.
