What e/tmaxx diffs are these? - 04.17.2008, 10:47 AM

I had this posted elsewhere but didn't get much response. Can you guys help?

I'm tearing apart my truck to part it out. I bought these diffs along time ago and can't remeber exactly who made them. They're 7075 alum. So is the cup. The cup has 4 hex screws in it also. Black anodized or possibly powder coated. The coating is very tough. 4 bolts to put the halfs together. The brace is flat at the top and has a set screw in it.

Any ideas who made it? I'm thinking it was hardcore racing. What do you think?

No clue here; but I think if you’re going to try and sell them you need to identify the gearing (i.e. tooth count for the ring and pinion gears) and open the diff up to determine the number of spider gears. Knowing this will also help in identifying which diffs they are. For example, if you find out they’re 43/13 with 6 or 8 spiders, then you got a nice set of 1/8 buggy diffs there; possibly UE or comparable.

I think I'll do that. Pull the cup apart and see what's in there. Give me a bit I'll get some of those pics up.

There's only two spiders inside. They are held in place with the screw that you can see in the side of the cup.

Oh, kipsters- rare indeed. But, no more amazing than say garc cases and FLM cups- price accordingly I'd say.

Thanks suicideneil. I have to clean up all these parts, then get a list together. I need to fund a new project.
