Ofna Hyper 1/7th touring??? - 04.19.2008, 08:09 PM

Has anybody built of the these yet with a brushless setup??? I was looking to build a high speed on-road car and saw that car looked like it had plenty of room and a nice long wheelbase. Any reason why not to go with it?? I have seen a DM-1 car on here built, but not one of these.

I havent seen one yet. But I have a friend who has his all set to convert as soon as he can get a Monster Maxx. So he should be ready to start it soon.

It would be a pretty cool conversion.

How does it compare to a DM-1?? Is it the same basic thing?

If you do one i'll take the fuel tank. That's the fuel tank I use in the stinky savage.

I think its a little longer, and it is for sure havier.. It has amore traditional style suspension setup on it vs the DM1. The DM1 has the lay down style shocks like a Revo. The Hyper 1/7 is basically a long chassis buggy with short touring car arms and shocks. The hyper 1/7 is an older design than the DM1.
