If you don't mind me asking- why was your head rested on the desk?
Well, my head was rested on my hand, and my hand is attached to my elbow with my forearm in between which was actually the part resting on the desk... And my face was pointed toward the monitor and I was reading a thread on here, and then... well, the desk shook, which caused my arm to shake causing my head to shake.
I felt it down here in San Diego. It was very mild down here though. Just felt like somebody was shaking the bed.
Maybe somebody WAS shaking my bed?! I think it's those scary lawn gnomes that hide under it...
Be right back, getting the lawn (gnome) mower.
Was in Tustin (Orange County) at my 2nd job when it happened. It was definitely cool - I didn't even do anything until it was over. However, this one middle-aged Asian guy (his think accent just made it more amusing to me) got all freaked out and ran outside. The guy I work with and myself couldn't help but snicker at the reaction we had just seen!
It was almost nice to feel a real earthquake again...
