Is UE still in operation?? - 07.05.2008, 04:28 AM

They're still in operation albeit very limited.

Well unfortunately Robin (owner) does not seem to care too much about the R/C side of his operation these days. It is too bad for us, but the only way to get parts now is to either catch people selling them on ebay or here, or sending Sam or Robin an email requesting parts. Sometimes Sam is good about finding stuff laying around the shop that he can ship to you. UE gear is the best, but also the hardest to find. RCM has similar stuff available from FLM.

The shock components found in the UE super shocks as well as the six spyder gears are all made by Ofna( except for a few secondary stuff). Go look for them at towerhobbies and other places that sell Ofna products. You'll always find substitutions.

Yeah, most parts are made by Ofna.

Thanks for elaboration, George!

George, great listing, thanks for the detail.

In trying to buy boots, the number you list has one too many zeros, boots are OFN 40058.

Thanks for pointing t out. WHat I also found out is the Kyosho shock boots are stronger than the Ofna. They're thicker than the Ofna's. It's part number IFW 154. You can just cut 3.4mm off of it but I didn't have any problems with the stock length.
