Has any one used the scorpion 6 cell controllers? they look really nice and have a car mode. The wireless programing card is a plus also. Here's a link http://www.amainhobbies.com/product_...ducts_id/22495

Look at this http://www.scorpionsystem.com/files/...BEC-Manual.pdf If you go to page 3 it shows car/boat mode.

The car software is not done yet and I seem to have the only unit with it:

That sucks, why does it say CAR/B if the programing is not there though?

I just looked again it says the new V2 has car programing. It says: CAR/B= 1. WITH OUT REVERCE 2. WITH REVERSE, (BRAKE ON PRESET LEVEL )

It does have a car/boat programming, but it's not done yet. Plus Scorpion will use a different PCB and a heat sink/fan design.

Hi guys,

I have a prototype scorpion commander esc, 12s 130 amp controller. It's going in my muggy. I have everyting ready, just waiting for my motor. I have 2 4s polyquest lipo packs to power the car, some I'm going to run it on 8s. It's a big and heavy controller(and so is the muggy). If you're interested i'll let you know how things go.

That controller looks pretty sweet... I like the built-in mounting bracket. I'd be interested to see how it performs as well.

Man, I guess Scorpion found someone else to test their HV esc. All the work I did to help him get it right for us car guys might have not impressed him. All the advice with the heat sink and how the car software was supposed to be like. Oh well. I might just have to move on from now. Kind of reminds me of Hobbywing in a way.

Keep us posted on how the HV version does.

Like I told a few people, some of my ideas I just gave away for free just to have a good product on the market, but now I don't know if I'm going to do it anymore. It's cool, at least we will all know if this HV ESC from Scorpion will be good. I hope the price will be good as well so everyone can have a chance to try an HV set up.

The guy I emailed with was very nice and helpful. I just stumbled upon their website and after inquiring after their hv esc they offered me a prototype. I dealt directly with Scorpion in HK (I'm from the Netherlands btw).
