Losi eight 2.0 W/losi brushless conversion - 11.16.2008, 09:48 AM

hello,i was woundering if any have done a brushless conversrion with the Losi 2.0 buggy and losi brushless kit , what are your thoughts ? Does the losi mount except diffrent brushless motors(neu brushless)? I was also woundering if the coversion leaves a bunch of left over unused holes in the chasis. I know they make an eight e but from what i understand it is the 1.0 version and i would like to have the updated version and be able to put what ever motor and e.s.c i choose. Thanks for all the info ahead of time .bert

Chassis layout didn't change, just comes stock w/ flextech from my understanding. You can use the losi stock chassis w/ the losi brushless kit (fills all holes, no issues) or go w/ the tekno v3 eight-b kit from the get go and be able to retain the mechanical brakes. The Losi kit protects your equipment better, vs the stock tekno v3; but you can clean that up easy enough anyway. The mount does except serveral types of motors, but I'm not 100% if a Neu will bolt on, sorry.
