MM / VXL in Slash - 06.29.2009, 01:40 PM

Hey guys, Are the vxl stock bullet connectors compatible with the MM's directly out of the box or do I have to change them to 4mm? Also, does anyone have experience with a vxl slash on 3s, what gearing do you recommend?

Dude, you asked the same question in your other thread. Give people time to answer... No need to make multiple thread for every question.

Edit: Pretty sure the CC uses 4mm plugs while the VXL uses 3.5mm plugs. Its not hard to change out. Just solder the new ones on.

yah you have to change the motor to 4mm plugs. or you can change the mm to 3.5 but i would just change the motor.

as for gearing what i did was stay at stock and run it and then see my temps and go from there. if the temps are good and you like the power you have then keep it where it is. but if you want more top end power then lower your spur and up your pinion. if you want more bottom then up your spur and lower your pinion a little bit.
