Brushless Monster Truck -

Alright guys I have built a 1/8 buggy, but now I am looking for something little tamer. I want to buy or build a brushless monster truck. I have an offer in on a 3.3 revo chassis. Is this going to be an easy conversion? If not I am open to any suggestions, just looking for something around 40mph that doesn't break the bank.

what are you looking to spend? i've got a 99% aluminum FLM-Maxx for sale now, but it's a complete setup with esc and motor.

when I built the ofna buggy I used a mamba maxx and a neu motor. I know technology has changed so is this still an option or is the new castle stuff the way to go.

the neu motors are still cutting edge. Castle's stuff is great too though. the truck i have is on ebay now...here's the link:

If you get the 3.3 the Tekno Conversion kit is $100.00 and has everything you need included. It'll be a great truck for you. You might consider a center diff unless your willing to mod the trans to lock it in second like most folks do.
The Losi LST2 turns into a Hell of a conversion MT if you want something even bigger yet ? |

the LST 2 and MGT are my favourite conversions.. it was easy, and reliable.... you could get the rollers cheap too..

I would opt for the LST2 if I were doing another MT conversion. I had a roller as well, but I'm sticking to racing right now.

Lightning Stadium Pro2 is No slouch either, I have 2 and sometimes I can't decide which ones I'd rather take with me to run.
The LST2 can handle rougher terrain but the LSP handles so much better and flys nicer to boot. Decisions Decisions ??  ..

Well I guess I will not put in a bid on the reo and go loking for an lst. Any suggestions beside fleabay.

Fleabay will most likely be your best bet. Make sure you search for a LST (2) The LST1 & Aftershock's drive train isn't quit as strong as the LST2 |
