Mike's Lipos..? -
01.28.2007, 04:51 PM
I was wondering if mike stocks the new 20C HV cells? I was wanting to get the 8000mah 2s2p pack but wasnt sure if i should, since mike doesnt have a option to take 12ga wire.. Thanks.
The problem with nitro's these days are that they arent brushless... LOL

People here hate Nitro, I love it. I start it, run it about 50 ft from me and it dies, I go after it. Perfect exercise

How can you tell? I just got 2 x 2s 8Ah packs and am curious as well. I don't plan to run them anywhere near that high, but it would be nice to know...

It said in the store they are. also i have made several hard runs on mine with a 9XL and 7XL and they never get hot. My eagletree says i pull several 100 amp peaks in a few minutes of running (hard takeoffs on pavement) and not getting any heat off the packs

Unless you get UPS 1 day shipping, but even then, import duties suck @$$!

I did some testing on my eagletree for other things, but paid close attention to the volts to amps and saw that at 105 amps, the maxamps were holding 3.2vper cell, this was about 30 seconds into the run and the run lasted for about a minute and a half

Hey larry, can you do some more testing of the cells with longer runs perhaps? I'm curious to see what they are doing later on in a run.

I have run the 5s setup in the G2R (9XL/MambaMax) for over 30 minutes, Broken up over two runs, First only ten minutes and the second over 20before charging. thats over 30 minutes and it was as fast as it started.
On a side note, My testing on the eagletree has only been around a minute and the drops i see in the batteries are interesting, With a full charge (20.88), I have seen drops to 16.24v and amperages over 110 amps and wattages over 1900 watts in the minute long sessions. Weather has been a problem so longer sessions will have to wait
