Brushless ESC for a 540 converted micro RS4 - 04.04.2006, 05:11 PM

Hi -

I am looking ofr a small sized but a powerful ESC. I have a Micro RS4 that can accept 540 size motors. Here is a link to pics of my car:

I am putting a 540 sized S series brushless motor in it. I need an ESC small enough to fit with RX in the car. But powerful enough to run a Hacker C40-5T motor.

Any ideas? Thanks.....

Sweet jesus... I've got 3s lipo and a mamba compX in my Xray M18 and I have yet to get it to top speed and still be able to control it.... I've had it up to about 50mph at half throttle... Litterally driving it down a road chasing it with a real car :D

You sir, are nuts!

Anyways, I don't know of any SMALL controlers that would work fine... Check out the store I think the MGM ones were kind of small??

Thanks - I love speed. It is a really nice car. The MRS4 does about 50 tops with a stock 19t brushed motor in it. I can imagine what it will do with a brushless.

With the mamba 8000kv on 8 GP1100's does about 50 or so at half throttle as well. Can't really control it going any faster but want to try with the C40 Hacker motor and see what I can do. :)

My guess is that the weight will add some stability.. On the other hand..

a 540 motor has got quite some power.... but.. Who cares.. It's all about the science!

The 380 fegaio's might be a better setup for that and you might even get to keep the mamba controler

Work because i gotta, play because i wanna

People here hate Nitro, I love it. I start it, run it about 50 ft from me and it dies, I go after it. Perfect exercise
