I love the look of anodized washers on anything. Beauty. Oh and this buggy is gorgeous. The sticker price puts it in lines with those other names like Durango. I think the super slim chassis on this one plays to the advantage for those who know the thing will be better off with a BL motor in it.

Reminds me of the "Homeys" around my town drivin box chevy Hoopty's with gold rims

I retired from RC, now life is all about guns and long range shooting.

Looks good, but is quite silly. Why use countersunk screws in countersunk washers to do up against a flat surface? You don't get the location pining benefit of the countersink and it weighs more and costs more than using buttonheads.

last time you blew the head off of a button/cap head screw??? I prefer cap heads because of the 2.5mm hex...

I'm with you on this one.

I've stripped plenty of 2mm hex countersunks but never a 2.5mm cap or button.

I'll agree with you on the cap's my slash has mostly caps now, since it is the one I bash the hardest taking it apart needs to be easy. 2.5 caps are so much easier than 2mms as wll as the added fact that they do not strip as easy.

I still like the added bling of the contersunk and washer look though. I have a few of these on the not so beat up areas on some of my RC's. It is more of a "Why not" rather than a "why" thing.

Exactly, however lots of companies play into this category. More bling, more money.
