rd maxx tire - 04.10.2006, 05:04 PM

hi, have you guys tried mike's rd logic "maxx" tire? they seem kinda light (about 255g), are these durable and good for mild bashing?.the wheels seem tough,my concerns with balooning and tire ripping:026: . i figure its a good/cheap intro to the proline racing tire setups.....hvmaxx,mip set,g1sspeed,70/12(strobe slppr coming soon),ib4200-7cell... any feedback greatly apprec....

They should be ok, before i answer, can a mod please move this thread to general question.... thanks. These tires come pre-glued, and with a hv-maxx you shouldnt worry about the tires ballooning and ripping.

The problem with nitro's these days are that they arent brushless... LOL

I ran these tires at pretty hi speed. They held up well until the jumping 10 ft in air. I busted the rim. The Rims will round out if got alot of power to. I ran mine on a 1950 18 cells to.

Peace!

Hes not running any strong brushless setup, the hv is mild, so they will be just fine.
