Alza Racing question on chassis plates, 5mm versus 4mm -

for you guys who have these conversions, did any of you go with the 4mm plates? If so, how are they holding up to your abuse?
For your 5mm guys do you feel the its overkill?
Looking at the weight differences
5mm aprox. 860g, 4mm aprox 690g.
looks like a 1/3 pound savings.
