Strike body on my E-XXL. Check it out! - 12.07.2010, 12:04 PM

I was at the LHS the other day showing off my truck and spied a Losi Strike sitting there on display. So for kicks, I checked to see how the body would fit, because I know the Strike is kind of long. My Slayer 2.5 body ALMOST fits, so I thought the Strike body might... and I was right!! So, I scored one for cheap on eBay ($20 shipped!) and put it on my XXL.

My shocks were a little plush and the rear of the wheel wells would rub, so I trimmed the rear corners off just a bit. I also had to retap mounting holes. I stiffened up my shocks a little too. The results are AWESOME in my opinion! Check out the pix!! Personally... I love that lime green color because they look good with my Orange Rims.

The specs of my truck are 6S MarinePower 5000mah Lipo, Neu 1515 2.5d, MMMV3, XXL HD Cups in the diffs, RC Raven Springs with 30wt oil, Single Steering, KoPro 2368ICS Steering servo, 23mm ProLine Rims (yellow dyed to orange), Pro Line 40Series Bow Ties, New Era Nitro Roll Bar converted for electric by Bondonutz. I also have the stock Losi Truck body in Red and this Strike body. Both bodies are Gorilla taped inside for durability.

ERBE: RCM 1/8 Hybrid Diffs, NEU 1515/2.5d/S MMM, 6S, Losi E-XXL CUSTOM, Neu1515 2.5d, MMM, 6s E-SLAYVO PRO ERevo Chassis w/ Pro 3.3 parts, NEU 1512, MMM, 4S.
