Kyosho conversion? - 06.21.2007, 09:47 PM

Has anyone done a brushless conversion with a Kyosho Inferno Gt. It looks like a great car to do a conversion on. Number one it's big (I'm thinking 1/8 scale or so). Number two is relatively cheap, $380 rtr. And number 3 I haven't figured out yet.

Rcmonster store now has a motor mount for Kyosho buggies so that will make the conversion relatively easy. This car is simply a Kyosho 1/8 (Inferno series...) adapted to be a road car... basicly a big touring car. I think it has a two speed (?) but you don't want or need that for electric power.

So... gut the car of all the nitro crap and install the motor mount. Pick a method for strapping in a lipo pack... velcro staps are the easiest to do. There isn't much else to it... except for picking out the electrics and installing them.

I was considering doing the same car but wanted to wait until the Ferrari was available.
