any ideas for a center diff? - 11.13.2007, 12:01 AM

i have a project e-maxx/5th scale, it needs a center diff or a slipper, but i haven't got a clue what to use. I'm not looking to spend more than what an e-maxx tranny costs....any help? thanks ppl

HB Lightning diff would be my choice. It is pretty cheap, mounts are in the RC-M store, and a Kyosho spur will fit no problem so hardened pinions aren't needed.

Candyman used an OFNA centre, but the principle is the same.

Technically speaking any of the centre diff converions would work- you just have to buy the matching bearing support that goes with the particular motor/CD mount, and mount it to the chassis. The only limitation would be centre shafts/dogbones, but Mike can custom make them to any length, so its no biggie.
