Jato pushed by a 1920/7? - 01.24.2008, 08:06 AM

I am thinking of parting with my stampede and replacing it with a converted Jato. I have a 1920/7 with a MM on 2 2s2p 6000 mah maxamps ran in series. Do you think the 1920 is to small? Its great in my stampede but I like the "look" of the Jato setup and handling more. Notice I said the look. I have not driven one yet. (Nitro) I don't like the clearance of the Jato but I some extra Revo wheel sets lying around. That would give some good clearance. Any thoughts?

Do you have a crt.5? I had a brushless jato and did not care for it, too light in the rear. I had traction issues and never really had much fun with it. I prefer 4wd, for stability and braking power.

I have a 1920/10 on 4S in my Rustler and it is over the top fast, even with mashers on it pulls 40mph wheelies and goes ~55mph. The jato will be lighter, so there is no reason it shouldn't work. If anything it may be too much power for 2wd on 4S.

I have a CRT.5 I'm building that it will go into. Can't wait to run it.
