Anyone buy from All-battery.com? - 02.16.2008, 05:55 PM

I recently purchased two 7 cell 4200mah hump pack from them on ebay, they where shipped promptly, but they where shipped in a flat rate cardboard envolope which ripped open during shipping when i pulled the package out of my mailbox it was ripped all the way across one side with no batteries in it. I even had to pay 10 bux for shipping.

If anyone has dealt with them, how where your batts shipped ?

Do you think they will send me another pair, since it is they're fault?

IMO, I'd ask for a refund and buy better batteries elsewhere. You'll do much better in the long run buying packs with quality cells rather than those Tenergy cells.

I think its the shippers fault for improper packaging of the product.

and yes.... Tenergy sucks. Good for your flashlight maybee.

I can't decide if its more fun
to make it...
or break it...

I'll second that. You can get much better batteries else where for the same price. My friend has some of them and they heat up quite a bit after maybe 10 minutes of not even driving very hard. And it was All-Batteries fault in my opinion for improperly packing the batteries. I'd contact them first.

I have contacted the seller by e-mail, we'll so where that goes.

I am new to electric r/c and don't really know who makes good batts, could you post some links to similar priced packs, with better performance ?

Are you looking strictly at NiMH packs or also lipo's? Max Amps ha great NiMH packs, and TrueRC probably has the best value lipo packs.

Those tenergy cells are terrible! They never came close to advertised capacity of 4200 - was luck to get 2400-2600 on charge.
See if seller will let you put that money toward something else.

Its really his fault for shipping them in packaging that wasn't capable. I hope you don't get into the insurance thing. I've had real good performance with maxamps NiMh 7 cell pacs.

Who in their right mind would send battery packs in a padded envelope? That is one of the stupidest things that I have ever heard of. With the weight of those Nm packs you know that you have to mail them in something that will withstand the punishment of the postal system plus you have to make sure there is enough padding inside to keep them from mouncing all over the place during shipping. Plus if there was any money of interest involved you should always use the insurance that is available to cover the investment. Otherwize if something goes wrong your the one who looses. I would be willing to bet that the seller will not make up for the loss as he will say it was not his fault, but a padded envelope is incredibly stupid for this item. Plus the shipping company will not take the responsibility for the shippers mistake of packaging the item worng either. I am affraid that the loss is may be on you. Sorry for your loss, and try dealing with companies that have a better rep for this hobby. At least that way you know they have been around for a while and they want to maintain a good repour with the customer. Good luck with that.

I have bought from them several times. The batteries are not all that great, but their service has always turned out to be pretty good as far as Im concerned. Give them a call. I have had the 3500s, 4200s, and 3800s. The 3500s made excellent basher packs. The others were lackluster at best.

Every pack i got from maxamps came in boxes. they are good people with good prices. I to would ask for my money back, if they are cheap on packaging, imagine how bad the batteries are

Work because i gotta, play because i wanna

People here hate Nitro, I love it. I start it, run it about 50 ft from me and it dies, I go after it. Perfect exercise
