Best for offroad? - 02.05.2008, 03:35 AM

What would be the best trauck to get? I need something that is kinda easy to drive. I need something that will track straight threw bumps, ruts, and grass. I like the 8ight-t. But Idk if a buggies would be better? O also it has to be durable like a rustler. :)

Well is it stronger then a stock e-maxx?

Does a truggy weight alot more then a buggy? Going to do 8xl ot 7xl, mm or mmm, on 4s.

Are you serious or sarcastic? I honestly can't tell...

I've heard Rustlers are ridiculously tough, but on the other hand I heard 1/8th is the toughest...

I'm sure he was kidding. Rustler's are tough compared to other stadium trucks, but they can't take the abuse that a 1/8 buggy or truggy can.

Just kidding. HAHA

I would say that a new emaxx with rpm arms and hubs, with a decent bl setup will be your best bet for a durable truck that can handle rough terain. You may also want to put al shock caps on it too. Otherwise it seems to be a tough truck.

The new Emaxx I saw at my local track did not impress me with its strength. The whole back end broke off after about 10min of driving. He over jumped the large jump on the track, landed flat, and the rear snapped off. I just don't think the plastic chassis can compare to the aluminum of a truggy or revo.
