eflight.ch is the official distributor for Neu Motors in Europe. But you might order your motor directly at Neu Motors. Without shipping and taxes both sources are below 280$. Calculate with 25$ shipping costs to Europe and depending on your countrys sales and custom tax add between 15-25% of motor+shipping costs. You might end up paying around 230 Euros. If you live in Europe a Lehner 1950 might be a good option too. Powerwise both play in the same league. The lehner might cost you more dependeng on your countrys custom fees.

Small repairs of Neu Motors are now handled by eflight.ch in Europe. But in a worst case scenario you will have to send it back to the home base in San Diego which involves more custom and shipping costs as if you would send it back to Europe (Germany). One point you might consider.

For offroad use you have to protect your Neu motor due to it's cooling holes on the front and end bell. This is no big deal, but it is important to protect bearings and the inside when subjecting it to the elements. Old shool lehners without fans are closed cans so less worries in offroad environments ... altough bearings have to be protected as well (especially if you consider to drive your car in wet conditions).

I use Neu Motors and when it comes to power/wheight relation they are hard to beat. They for sure run cooler than Feigaos and thus allow more power throughput and a wider gearing range. But they were not especially built for car and offroad use. That's why you have to take some measures (for example RCmonster Endbell protection) to keep dirt out of your motor.
