Here's a pic taken by Sleebus, of last Sunday TNT. After I blew up to 2 sets of foam tires, I decided to put on my tape belted speed hawgs on heavy beadlocks and see what it would do.
Oh yes, observe the angle of the spinning (ballooning) tire, you will notice it does not have the proper... how do you say, "feng schway". I am going to have to concur with the statement that i needs more power.
More Power!
“The modern astrophysical concept that ascribes the sun’s energy to thermonuclear reactions deep in the solar interior is contradicted by nearly every observable aspect of the sun.” —Ralph E. Juergens
Man any more power and you'll be picking up bits of tyre from all over! That is a cool video- getting the power to the ground looks like the challenge. The dragster that takes off to the left of camera looks like it is an arrow from a bow!!! Thanks for the inspiration!

I used some nice foam tires on my BPP to do some speed runs. They held up ok. I'm not sure who makes them, but they are kind of like your usual dish wheel/foam combo. I bought them from a LHS who had them on sale.
My problem is on takeoff mostly. There is where I blow tires. If I take off slower, I'm ok and keep a straight line(like in a speedrun), but then I loose the dragrace that way. Speedruns can take over 200-300ft, whereas in dragracing you only have 132ft to make your topend.
hahahhaha. Actually I have done that before and so have others when they started. Worthless to say the least. Foams are still the best, if you can keep them glued on.
