Oem Rc Esc

I have one of those OEM rc /sentilion ESCs and it has a strange quirk. Sometimes it just wont hit full throttle, like mid throttle is all it has. Sometimes it does fine. Is this one of those ESCs that needs to see full throttle on the first spool up to properly identify it? I don't see that in the manual, but it seems to be so.

Interesting, I haven't noticed this. Have you tried different timing settings, or maybe LVC settings?

JRH; when the WOT does work right, do you notice a lag or delay on startup? Like there is a ramp-up of power? I don't know if you've seen my thread that talks about stacking a couple of these, but that seems to be the impression some people get.

I haven't tried many new settings, and the LVC is turned off.

When I do hit WOT, there is either a ramp up or the controller totally looses sync. I have to ease into it. I will be trying different batteries over the next few days to make sure it isn't my cells causing the issue, but I can see that sometimes the amp draw isn't as high as it should be. This is on my pink bike, and I have a live lcd panel coming from the data logger.

My next option is either an ESC from Scorpion or Castle.
