If you choose Priority Mail it shows me $4.60, which is not that bad.

yes... $4.60 is the flat rate for small packages for USPS Priority mail

I would be happy with that... it's how I ship things too

You just need to order a castle link and a speedy to go with it :D

This is pretty much a non-issue, isn't it? The Castle price is about 25% higher than everyone else's everyday price. I don't have a problem with it. In fact, it's good for Castle. The lawsuit is silly. This "sale" is just to apease the powers that be.

I read somewhere on here recently about someone speaking to a castle rep about something, and the rep stated they are waiting on something (cases or pcb's or something) and aren't expected to be on shelves till april. I guess there hasn't been any official announcement though :)

I read the "and the rep stated they are waiting on something" but I never read them saying this part: "and aren't expected to be on shelves till april."

It was a board member who said that second part.

All Castle said was they are waiting for things that are out of their hands.

Not saying they are going to make the march deadline, but I dont want people to think that is what castle said.

Aright, I couldn't find the original post, but I thought the poster said that the rep said april.

That was me... and I was told they were waiting on boards before they could go into production on the ESC.

They are also (were at the time anyway) waiting on the motors too.

I think the person that told me mid-April was trying to make an honest guess. I'm not holding them to that either, because there are things you can't control.

Heck, in my business I have to put things off too sometimes. Right now I'm waiting for something to show up that should have been here a week ago, so I can get a job done.

Having looked at buying a few items under this deal I've come back to my original conculsion that the the person that loses in this is the intermediate vendor.

The 25% brings everything down close to the same as rcm which means mike etc get disintermediated... CC don't mind as they probably now sell direct at a higher price than they sell to retailer.

Sadly all caused by american litigation culture...
