Hello all

I live in palm beach FL and just got back into rc since Xmas.....me and my son
started out with two stampedes...1 vxl and 1 xl5...then we converted the xl5 to vxl...then we bought a bandit vxl roller on ebay and converted it to a rustler...to make a long story shorter we now have two stampedes, three rustlers, one bandit and a custom FLM pede...all brushless....then they opened up a dirt rc track at moroso speedway here in palm beach which is only about 5 miles from our house so now we got into racing rc's on sundays....which brings me to this revo forum...we notice that our little (very fast) trucks dont seem to handle well and after seeing the revo's taking the jumps and curves so amazingly I decided to buy this roller.....its Nitro and I want to convert it to brushless for racing....I think I would like to set it up like BrianG's...please take a look at my roller deal and tell me how I did...I will sell all the gas related stuff on ebay and hopefully get enough to get the rc monster brushless converter kit

http://monster.traxxas.com/showthread.php?t=407299

it looks like it has alot of good hopups on it...I would like to start a progress thread soon as I get it and post pictures if you all arn't tired of seeing build's...hopefully I can get some good tips from you guys

it came with two 2.5 chassis but it has the Tekno Extended Rear arms which supposedly make it close to the lenght of a 3.3?

sorry for the long breath

Welcome - Lots of good info here - The 2.5 is great as a stating point and if you have a spare stampede/bandit/rustler chassis then they make a good battery tray down the side.

I used an emaxx transmission however the RCM revo mount works really nicely.
