Revo 3.3 and Center Differential + rear brake troubles - 03.13.2008, 10:51 AM

Hi all,

Anyone had any experience with the center differentials and rear brakes for the revo? I just got mine, and installed em correctly, I think, and something strange is happening.

Whenever I accelerate, I hear an odd sound, sort of like a squeak, but not. The car feels like its got slight brakes on, but the wheels all spin freely etc.

Well fairly freely anyway. With the engine off, and holding WOT on the remote, the wheels spin sort of freely, but stop quite quickly. I thought maybe something in the center diff is wierd, maybe the oil is too heavy? It says it comes with 100k oil in it. When I purchased it from eBay I also purchased some Traxxas diff oil, which comes in 20, 30 and 50k, so I thought 100k was a bit much lol :D.

I'll try and take a video tomorrow and put it up so you can hear the sound.

Thanks :D
