I converted a MBX buggy to BL and I used a 1/4" thick piece of aluminum and had it bent at a 90 degree angle and then drilled it and dremeled it to my liking... works great. I then mounted it to the chassis and to the rear diff support. The motor then sits up higher than the spur. If you want the motor off to the side I can't help you, sorry.
Do you have pics posted anywhere? I'd rather do a side mount. I see the RCM sells a couple mounts for Hyper and Jammin but I don't know if the bolt pattern matches the OFNA LX..
I have pics somewhere but they are on a usb drive and I'm not sure where that is. If I find it I will post them. As far as the holes lining up from different models... not sure. You could go pull up the manuals from ofnas website and compare part numbers, I know they use alot of the same parts on different vehicles and maybe they use the same rear support for the center diff on something else.
I have sent my OFNA GTP Center diff to Mike to be used as a template and he is making a brushless motorplate. Hopefully he will make it available to all that want one. It seems like a popular conversion..
i just drove my 1/8 yusa rally converted for the first time today, bad a$$. turned lots of heads. its not as nimble as 1/10, but it feels smooth and not bouncey like the 1/10s. i think this is going to be a popular conversion around here.

Which Ofna buggy did you convert? I see Mike sells different mounts for the different Ofna buggys. I have an MBX ultra and a 9.5,do they use the same mount?
If mike sells a mount that fits the ultra gtp, it will fit almost all of the ofna ultra buggies, including the mbx. It may fit the 9.5, but you will have to check if the bulkheads are the same part number as the ultra series.
The Jammin CR mount fits the 9.5 and Jammin buggies, the Ultra GTP mounts fits the MBX, Ultra buggies and the Hyper fits the Hyper series - I think we now offer a mount for any Ofna 1/8 buggy out there. :)
