Question RCM mugen motor mount - 04.02.2008, 07:01 PM

OK i've install my RCM motor mount on my MBX5T yesterday night, and mount my Neu 1515 finned motor on it.
I find that the fin of the motor touch the chassis, so my fear is if the chassis flex just a little bit, the motor will put alot of force on the motor mount.
So here's what i've did. I've place 4 little 2mm thick washer just under the center bulk, so the motor mount is 2mm higher, and the motor too.
Now they've some room for chassis flex.
But, is i'am the only one concerne by this problem, or somebody here have did it too

Thank you!

David

Well, it's a concern, but the rear brace should prevent it, but if it really concerns you, buy a piece of alloy or cf, or a z-brace for the jammin x1 buggy or truggy and screw it to the chassis (you'll have to drill holes for it).
