NEED tire help.....BAD..... - 04.20.2008, 07:41 PM

I'm going to Alaska in May for a week, and I'm gonna be running my ST (rustler vxl) on the street in some pretty cold weather.

What tires do you think will grip the best in the cold?

I've thought about masher 2000's and moabs. Anyone have any experience in running tires in the frigid cold?

HELP?

Basically, in a cold climate you would want a softer tire. Using a different tread wont help much in the colder temps if the tire compound is the same. I've never seen the MOAB's personally but I know the Masher 2K's are pretty soft. My vote would go to them if you're only between the two.
