New fastest Stampede record with GPS and video... - 05.05.2008, 01:51 PM

Ok guys promised some videos of this setup as well. Truck is running a 5S 5K mah pack with a BK 9920 and 8XL. Gearing is 54/26 running 32P jato gear. Truck is still running factory tires on the back and anacondas on the front with weights strapped....lol. Going back out again next week on 6S. Enjoy......the 81.1mph pass. BTW, WITH the body on it went 76.0mph. My buddy is getting this thing to haul big time..

Nice! Video is a little blurry making the GPS hard to read though.

That's what we are hoping. I think with a 28T pinion and 6S battery, the truck should hit 90+mph if it will stay on the ground.

Both of us are now really working hard on the XLB buggy. It should be exciting with it.....big 1/7th scale buggy going 85-100mph should be a missle.

I think you are just taking it for a quick spin in you car before taking the video so the gps is already reading stupid speed

I am impressed. It looks like those tires are becoming pizza cutters. It's amazing the thing stays stable.

The talons are ballooning BIG time....but that is what he wants to run. So if they blow, well I hate to see what will be left of the truck after the dust settles...lol

With them growing that much he is getting good rollout! Looks like fun. I am working on a speed car, but I think it will make you laugh!
