The Trinity Next is 1/16th nitro AFAIK. The Trinity NOW seems to be the same truck but electric powered.

Looks like fun to me, but I havn't seen one run yet.

Yeah mean't NOW not the Nitro NEXT.
RC411/Xtreme RC did a review on it last issue and had no issues with it. Downside was Tamiya connectors and the price but $189.99 doesn't seem that bad

yea search for it on here, you should find my review and the thread on the chassis i made for it, ....in short the chassis is cheap chinese crap and MUST be replaced other than that and going over the whole truck a good check ( kinda like a rebuild but just checking) its really a solid little truck, i have broke one rear lower arm in the last 4 months, i have only driven it about 10 times total but the runtimes are extra long also.

you have a pm if your interested.

you can pick up the stock truck and bend it into any neat shape you want with very little effort, the gear mesh depends on the chassis on this truck and spur gears wont last 5 minutes a piece with the stocker. its bends VERY easy off even the smallest little bump or jump.

Sounds like it could do with a decent chassis brace, like some angle al run down the center, or a cf top deck with lots of standoffs. Do that before the chassis bends!

linc i dunno if i ever told yal but i did try the aluminum top deck with an angled center to end bracing and if didnt bend and stay bent but it did flex enough to eat spur gears, after the chassis i made i ended up switching back to no center bracing and using the fiberglass top deck and i still havent stripped a spur other than when i forgot to tighten a motor screw lol.

in all seriousness the only thing i can compared to how easy the chassis flexs and bends is prolly cardboard, seriously
