I hear ya. I certainly hope that his order gets delivered to him soon. I would hope that since Castle shipped out orders to consumers early that hopefully they don't screw over their retailers (and in turn, us that ordered from a retailer) by pushing them out a week or two.

This seems to be what they are doing, but they should ship out today or tomorrow to wholesalers. The advantage of getting them through Mike is the better price.

Bad word is that Castle oversold them big time. More than half of the first production run were taken by their own web orders which get first priority. This means that none of the retailers will get what was ordered and many backorders might not be filled by the first run- every retailer will most likely have outstanding backorders including tower and horizon. Who is really going to get hurt is the LHS, they probably will have to wait three months to even get their hands on them unless Castle makes a huge run the next time.

If you are in the lower ranks of orders from Mike you should get your ESC soon, if you were in the tail end of the first orders Mike should know within two days where the cutoff was. Those that did not meet the cutoff will have to wait until the next production run.

Ouch. Bad Castle

I'm pretty sure I was quick to jump on the pre-order with Mike and should be in the top 10 in line with another retailer too.

I do certainly hope that Castle gets beat on a bit by the retailers so they don't screw them over again when the combo system is released.

Ummm... Not really true. We ship in order that the orders were taken (or booked.) We started taking orders from dealers/ distributors on the same day as we started taking orders from end-users.

And yes, run #2 will be big enough to handle ALL of the backorders, plus about 100% more.

If you ordered direct from us, you can call and ask Christy when your MMM will ship.

Only about half of the first run has even shipped so far. Many are still waiting on packaging, testing, etc.

UPDATE: Just found out a large percentage of the remaining batch 1 Monsters are shipping today and tomorrow.

Second run will happen later this month, and will start shipping 1 week after production start, and continue shipping for 3-4 weeks as ESCs complete through production.

Thanks for the info. Glad to hear that it's not too far off for a 2nd production run. That may even coincide well with the new E-Revo release. I have a feeling a lot will be sold for that vehicle.
