It does look like it will be a really fun truck, especially with the waterproof features, but I just can't help thinking that those skinny tires will be absolutely useless once they hit the dirt...

I'm excited for it too. By pulling my fastlane tranny and brushless setup off my rustler, I can put it on the slash, sell the stock electronics and brushless rustler roller, and pay for the slash! I want to run dual fastlane trannys and dual sidewinders in a 4wd slash soooooooooooo bad, screw corr2, corr4 baby!

Why go through the complication of getting 2 transmissions to work? My Sportwerks Turmoil buggy is extremely close to the wheelbase/width of the Slash. I plan on getting a Slash body for it and switching the shock towers to the Mayhem ST ones so I can run body posts. If I'm visualizing it all correctly it should work out well.

I do plan on picking up a 2WD Slash as well.

I could argue with the other reasons but I can't argue with the voices. j/k

I hope there are no delays in the Slash release. it's going to be a fun vehicle.
